summary: Ryeowook dies and becomes a guardian angel for a very undeserving being.(sorry my summaries are lame)
Ryeowook let out a sigh in defeat as he realized he was completely lost. All the street signs were unfamiliar and they didn’t sound like the directions he was given. How was he supposed to protect some guy if he couldn’t find his way around the damn city. He had never visited the shady part of town when he was alive, how was he supposed to now that he couldn’t even ask for help if he wanted to.
Ryeowook frowned as he sat down on the grimy sidewalk, knowing now it didn’t care if he got stuff on his pants no one would ever see him again, besides other guardian angels, and in Ryeowook’s point of view they were snobbish, never wanting to talk always watching a life, guarding it. Ryeowook wondered who he would be watching over. The only thing he knew about the person was their name, Kim Jongwoon, and that his last guardian quit.
What could make a soldier for God just quit? “He’s a daredevil isn’t he? Risking his life every day, making it difficult to watch over?” Ryeowook asked looking up at the sky, of course getting no response. Ryeowook could tell this was going to be a lonely profession.
A loud bang came from a near by alley, jumping Ryeowook immensely. He heard a soft thud, almost immediately after the gunshot. Ryeowook shakily walked into the dark alley, clinging to the wall, as if afraid to be seen, which was unnecessary. He saw two figures standing above a body. As Ryeowook got close he could see the perfectly circular hole in the corpse’s head.
“Clean this mess up,” The older man in a suit ordered, opening his black jacket and placing his weapon of choice, the gun inside.
“Yes boss,” the younger man spoke before turning to the dead body. Something about the older man told Ryeowook to follow him. Ryeowook followed a safe distance behind, his legs still shaking and his stomach still churning from the sight of the lifeless man.
After following the well dressed man for about a half an hour, Ryeowook couldn’t hold it back anymore as he bent over, letting his insides pour out. He was unaware even an “angel” can puke after seeing such a disgusting sight. The familiar clack on the appealingly rich man’s shoes against the paved sidewalk suddenly stopped getting farther away and started getting closer. Ryeowook looked up, just in time to see the man was next to him.
Then Ryeowook found himself being grabbed and shoved roughly against the side of a brick building. “Ouch!” Ryeowook cried out, the pain from hitting such a hard object, at such force too.
“Why are you following me?” The man growled, with a knife placed against Ryeowook’s throat. Ryeowook knew he shouldn’t be scared, he was already dead, but how the hell could this guy see him, hurt him, touch him? All Ryeowook could do was tremble in this man’s grasp all his words were gone, his voice lost. He was stuck staring into the dark cruel eyes, who wouldn’t think twice before killing a man.
“They sent another, I see.” The man breathed, his hot breath washing over Ryeowook‘s face making him squirm slightly, as his heart beat faster.
“A-another?” Ryeowook finally squeaked.
“Don’t tell me even you forgot what you are?” The man teased.
“Jongwoon?” Ryeowook questioned.
“When is ‘he’ going to realize I don’t need a stupid guardian angel. You guys don’t even work really well. I’ve killed dozens of people and none of their so called ‘angels’ helped them out.” Jongwoon spoke coldly.
“I don’t see why ‘he’ wanted me to protect you. You are a murder!” Ryeowook accused feeling slightly braver knowing that blade in front of him couldn’t damage him.
“At least they sent me a cute one this time,” Jongwoon ran his hand across Ryeowook’s face tauntingly.
“Don’t touch me.” Ryeowook pouted, pushing Jongwoon’s hand away.
“Why not? I just want to know everything about my ‘angel’.” Jongwoon smirked his hand running across Ryeowook’s lower back, underneath the younger’s thin shirt, earning a small gasp from the angel’s thin lips.
“Maybe you’ll be a fun one to play with.” Jongwoon whispered, letting his tongue trace the younger man’s lower lip.
“St-stop it!” Ryeowook cried out after his heart beat froze for a moment enjoying touch.
“And I thought you were liking it.” Jongwoon smirked.
“H-how can you see me?” Ryeowook asked seriously.
“I died once, no big deal got brought back by the electric paddles. And ever since I crossed the line for about 10 seconds I have been able to see the abnormalities of the world. Why do you guys always ask? Oh and since I can see you I can touch you. And since I can do both I can drive you crazy and force you to quit. Because I don’t need you and I hate being followed.” Jongwoon snarled. “However,” Jongwoon leaned in close to Ryeowook one last time, “I think, I’ll make you feel real good, before I make you want to leave.” Jongwoon pressed his hips against Ryeowook’s creating the oh so sweet friction before backing away leaving the younger of the two gaping like a fish.
“O-oh please, you could n-never make me feel good.” Ryeowook tried to repress his stutter but failed.
“Really? Then why did you gasp under my touch?” Jongwoon smirked, raising an eyebrow.
“I-I, your fingers were cold!” Ryeowook tried to defend himself.
“Mmhm. Whatever you say, sexy.” Jongwoon winked at Ryeowook, before sliding his knife back into his jacket before beginning to walk away.
“H-hey! Where are you going?” Ryeowook asked pushing himself away from the building behind him.
“Wouldn’t you like to know.” Jongwoon smiled before turning a corner that was right next to him.
“How rude!” Ryeowook huffed, crossing his arms stubbornly with a pout. He looked down to see his feet sliding across the tar, even though he was not picking up his feet. Inside he began to panic but was afraid to move, it was almost like he was being dragged behind Jongwoon.
“W-what is going on?!” Ryeowook cried out, as he turned around the corner and Jongwoon was in plain sight again, only about 4 or less feet away. Jongwoon stopped when he heard his angel’s frantic voice. And as Jongwoon stopped moving so did Ryeowook.
“Don’t they give you a damn manual or something before they send you off to protect people?” Jongwoon asked turning to face the other being.
“Erm…” Ryeowook didn’t want to admit that he had lost it before he got to turn a single page.
“Well, to answer your question of ‘what’s going on’ you have to be within 3 feet of me at all times. Now that we‘ve met and touched.” Jongwoon smirked, “or else you get pulled to me, or dragged behind me.”
“That seems too close. I think 10 ft. would be a good distance.” Ryeowook spoke as he began to be dragged against by Jongwoon taking a few steps before stopping.
“Why?” Jongwoon questioned, reaching out an arm and pulling Ryeowook to him. “Afraid to be close to me?”
“N-no…you just walk fast… how am I supposed to keep up?” Ryeowook blushed, he was aware how terrible his lies were, considering his shaking body was a dead give away.
“Walk faster,” Jongwoon simply explained, before turning away this time Ryeowook walking closely behind him, in fear of being dragged again.
“Walk faster.” Ryeowook mocked under his breath, unwillingly trudging behind.
“You’re not very polite.” Jongwoon commented.
“Oh yeah, well-” Ryeowook’s whole body froze and his attention immediately zoned in on a simple blue car getting close to passing them. Something about the car didn’t seem right, as the window’s rolled down as the car’s speed slowed. “Jongwoon-” Ryeowook called out, Jongwoon turning around slowly just as if everything began to move in slow motion. Ryeowook heard the guns fire, and saw where the bullets were going to hit before they even came close.
It felt as if he sprouted wings as Ryeowook jumped quickly knocking Jongwoon onto the pavement and out of harm’s way. Ryeowook felt the man below him pull out a gun shooting angrily at the car, even puncturing a tire in his fit of rage. The car let out a loud screech as it swiveled on the road for a few minutes before crashing into a building. Smoke began billowing out of the hood of the car.
Jongwoon scrambled to his feet, stalking over to the car, Ryeowook, of course, close behind. He quickly let the used clip of his gun drop out as he refilled it. People now desperately trying to escape the car and escape Jongwoon’s wrath.
Ryeowook’s body froze in horror as Jongwoon’s blew out one of the guy’s running away knee cap, making him collapse to the ground, howling out in pain as his crimson blood rained down on the white cement. The next men in Ryeowook’s opinion got it easier. Two men where shot in the chest and another in the back of the head as he tried to crawl away unnoticed. All of their cries for mercy were denied. The car, the building it ran into, and the sidewalk were dripping with a familiar red liquid.
Before Ryeowook could wrap his mind around all the deaths, Jongwoon was fleeing from the people now exiting the building the car had crashed into. Ryeowook was dragged for about 5 blocks until Jongwoon, bent over panting, his lungs needed oxygen. All Ryeowook could do was stare at him, he had blood smeared all over the front of his suit and some on his face and in his hair. The dark liquid made him appear savage and cruel.
Jongwoon pulled his slim black cell phone out of his pocket, flipping it open before hitting a few keys and holding it up to his ear. “Hello? Yes, I was just shot at. No don’t worry only one lived, and that’s if he doesn’t bleed out before he gets to the hospital. Anyway, just come get me.” Ryeowook zoned out as the conversation went on. Familiar screams filled his head, screams for mercy but not the ones that belonged to those who were into the car. Ryeowook squatted down towards the ground holding his head tightly. The screams only seemed to get menacingly louder.
A touch on Ryeowook’s shoulder man him let out a very womanish scream as he fell back onto the sidewalk, inching away from the source of the touch. “Are you okay?” Ryeowook blinked his eyes repeatedly, as the screaming in his ears died down and Jongwoon came into view, kneeling in front of him.
“I said, are you okay?” Jongwoon repeated.
“Y-yeah….” Ryeowook breathed slowly, trying to get his heart beat to slow. Which it’s ironic he has one as a spirit if you will, because his physical has stopped beating for good.
“You sure? I mean you were just cringing in pain…” Jongwoon inched closer, if Ryeowook hadn’t known better he would have thought the human had been worried about him.
“I… think so, I mean yes, I’m sure, I’m fine.” Ryeowook smiled slightly, trying to be reassuring.
“A dead person can’t even handle seeing people die. That’s just ridiculous.” Jongwoon muttered as he straightened up.
“You little-” Ryeowook began to growl, but was cut off by the rumbling of another car approaching. His chest tightened as it slowed down, flashes of what just happened replayed in Ryeowook’s mind. But unlike the other car this one stopped and a window unrolled.
“Okay, Yesung get on in.” A man on the driver’s side called. Jongwoon opened the passenger door, getting in quickly. Ryeowook sat wondering how to get in the car, but he wasn’t quick enough. The car took off quickly, and Ryeowook was unlucky enough o get dragged beside it. This time he wasn’t even on his feet, he was getting dragged in his ass, feeling rocks go places they never should go.
Ryeowook looked up into the passenger’s window pleadingly. Jongwoon calmly turned to look at him before smirking and childishly sticking out his tongue. “Oh that demon!” Ryeowook cried out, “I-I’ll kill him!”
After a long and uncomfortable ride, the car finally pulled to a stop in front of a rather large mansion. Why such a large house was ever created, Ryeowook doesn’t understand. Because it seems to be just a symbol for money and power maybe, with all of the security guarding it. The world spun around and around as Ryeowook shakily stood, nausea taking a hold of his body.
“So, I will plan an attack back on them then. For even thinking they could attempt to murder you.” The young man was driving spoke as he exited the motor vehicle.
“Thank you, Kibum.” Jongwoon got out of the car himself.
“Anytime, Boss.” Kibum bowed before disappearing into the house.
“Have a nice ride? Hmm?” Jongwoon smiled cheekily at Ryeowook.
“I hate you.” Ryeowook muttered, glaring. It didn’t hit Ryeowook until the words past his lips tat he truly didn’t like the human. Wow, he’s really good at driving people away, Ryeowook thought to himself. But Ryeowook was determined to persevere through anything.
“Come on now, I am going inside.” Jongwoon instructed as he opened the door, leaving it open long enough for the two of them to pass through it.
“Wow.” Ryeowook marveled at the spotless sparkling floors, and the rich blue carpet covering the double stair case. Each wooden table shined brightly with a perfect porcelain vase filled with light blue flowers. The place seemed as classy as Jongwoon’s once clean suit.
Before Ryeowook was reading to move and stop looking around he found himself being dragged up one of the staircases and down a wide hallway and into an enormous bedroom, far bigger than necessary. Probably 20 ft long and wide. Jongwoon opened a large wooden dresser pulling out, casually close such as jeans and a shirt, along with the normal boxers.
Ryeowook followed Jongwoon back into the hall past three doors before they went into another. Ryeowook gaped at the room. “N-No way!” Ryeowook tried to push Jongwoon out of the room. “You don’t need to shower, you smell fine!”
“I have blood all over me.” Jongwoon spoke plainly as he pushed Ryeowook further inside and closed the door behind him. Ryeowook’s eyes darted nervously around the room, until it landed on the shower, he tried to guess how big it was, and like everything else in the house, it was larger than what it needed to be. Large enough for about 5 people, so that meant more than 3 ft, which was unlucky for Ryeowook.
Ryeowook’s attention snapped back to Jongwoon as he heard something drop to the floor. He immediately flushed bright red as he noticed it was a belt that dropped to the floor. Ryeowook shyly looked away but found his eyes being drawn back to the shirtless man in front of him.
“Like what you see?” Jongwoon teased as he caught Ryeowook staring.
“W-what?!! No no no! There is a misunderstanding here of some sort!” Ryeowook rambled, trying to hide his embarrassment.
“That’s okay, I don’t mind, if I were you I’d look too.” Jongwoon smirked as Ryeowook turned around and finished taking of his clothes, “Aren’t you going to get naked?”
“What? NO! Guardian angels don’t get wet from showers.”
“And this is coming from someone who didn’t read the manual.” Jongwoon rolled his eyes as he stepped into the shower and turned on the knobs, cold water rushed out at first but was soon replaced by warm soothing water. Ryeowook stood, facing the wall pouting as the water rained down upon him, sure enough getting him wet.
“W-why did that guy call you Yesung, in the car.” Ryeowook asked trying to make the awkward situation fade.
“it’s just a nickname, everyone uses.” Yesung explained, “What do I call you angel?”
“Ryeowook..” Ryeowook answered barely above a whisper.
“Ryeowook, mmm what a cute name you have.” Jongwoon whispered, wrapping his bare arms around the other being. “To match that perfect face.” He placed a soft kiss on Ryeowook’s cheek.
“Leave me alone.” Ryeowook pouted squirming in Jongwoon’s arms, his cheek burning where his lips had caressed it.
“Why? You like the attention.” Jongwoon’s worked his hand underneath Ryeowook’s soggy shirt, to feel the smooth skin of Ryeowook’s stomach.
“I do not~” Ryeowook breathed, his eyes closing at the feeling Jongwoon’s rough fingers gave him.
“Liar.” Jongwoon’s hot breath crashed against the back of Ryeowook’s neck, which water continued to run down.
“I’m not a-” Ryeowook lost his voice as Jongwoon’s curious lips massaged the tender spot of Ryeowook’s neck.
“Mmm.” Ryeowook purred, liking the feeling of the skilled lips.
“I thought you hated me.” Jongwoon whispered, nipping Ryeowook’s ear playfully.
“I do.” Ryeowook replied turning around in Jongwoon’s arms to face him.
“You sure don’t act like it.” Jongwoon whispered, brushing his lips tauntingly over the other man’s. Ryeowook’s lips parted slightly in a gasp, giving Jongwoon just the chance he wanted, pushing his tongue hungrily inside. Enjoying the taste the angel had to offer.
Ryeowook pressed his body firmly to Jongwoon’s before moaning into the kiss, only encouraging Jongwoon more. Jongwoon ran his hand down Ryeowook’s side before rubbing his thin thighs, earning another loud moan from that velvet voice. Ryeowook felt himself losing himself to the sweet and tender yet passionate touches of the other man. He knew he had to stop this and stop it soon. There was no way this act between human and guardian was normal.
“St-stop!” Ryeowook managed through hungry locks of their lips. Jongwoon almost immediately stopped and pulled away. Someone Ryeowook ‘hated’ he may have been but he was no rapist.
“Sorry.” Jongwoon muttered before moving as far away from Ryeowook as he could, even if it was only 3 ft. Ryeowook had to admit he instantly missed Jongwoon’s hot touch on his body, and felt a little depressed now being the 3ft away.
Ryeowook watched as Jongwoon turned the shower knob making the water pour out cold, hoping to get rid of the last bit of arousal they both had. They didn’t talk after their shower, they got out and Jongwoon got dressed and they returned back to his bedroom, as it was growing late. Luckily for Ryeowook he dried off quickly.
“I’ll sleep on the floor..” Ryeowook whispered before laying down next to the side of the bed Jongwoon had laid down on.
“Don’t be stupid, get on the bed. If I rolled to this side you’d roll forcefully right into the side of the bed. I don’t need to give you know who a bad impression by hurting the angel he so kindly sent to protect me.” Jongwoon made an excuse to be closer to Ryeowook.
“Hmm I guess you’re right…” Ryeowook glanced suspiciously at Jongwoon.
“Don’t worry I won’t try anything funny, geesh you have quite a high opinion of yourself.” Jongwoon smiled at the frown he caused across Ryeowook’s plush lips.
“The why did you molest me in the shower?! You wanted to have your way with me!” Ryeowook accused.
“Oh please,” Jongwoon rolled his eyes, “You are hardly worth my time the sooner you are gone, the better.”
“I dislike you.” Ryeowook sent daggers through Jongwoon as he settled himself on top of the sheets, not wanting his skin to accidentally touch the demon human’s underneath the blankets.
*********************
Ryeowook’s eyes snapped open as soon as the door creaked open, a dark figure sliding in between the small crack. Ryeowook nervously began to shake Jongwoon, getting a slight groan from the other man but eventually Jongwoon sat up, after noticing a dark shadow towering over him in the moonlight.
He slid the knife he kept under his pillow out, and grabbed the intruder and shoved them down on the bed, holding the knife to their throat. Ryeowook watched the intense flash, holding his breath, afraid to see another murder.
“Y-Yesung…” A frightened voice barely got out.
“Teukie,” Jongwoon sighed sitting up and sliding the knife back under his pillow. “I almost killed you, “ Jongwoon hissed, “What are you doing here?”
“Y-you asked me to come..” Ryeowook could see the worried look cross Teukie’s face. “T-to finish what we started…”
Ryeowook watched as the anger melted away from Jongwoon’s face a sly smirk dancing across his lips. “Oh, that’s right, and where were we?”
“About here,” Teukie nervously leant in kissing Jongwoon’s lips, delicately. But the kiss soon changed, into more aggressive one. Jongwoon pushed Teukie down on the bed and crawled on top of him. Ryeowook unhappily found himself being pulled to the spot just next to Teukie, needing to be 3 ft away from Jongwoon.
Ryeowook watched as Jongwoon’s nimble hands undid Teukie’s belt, pulling it out of the belt loops and throwing it to the floor, without breaking his lips away from the others. Then he quickly removed Teukie’s shirt, hating the fabric between them.
“Yesung!” Teukie moaned as Jongwoon’s lips traveled down his chest, taking a detour to play with Teukie’s nipples with his tongue, just so he could hear another soft moan. Ryeowook felt dirty for watching as Jongwoon stripped Teukie of his pants.
“I-I need you…” Teukie pleaded as Jongwoon sucked on the tip of his arousal.
“Where do you need me?” Jongwoon whispered into Teukie’s ear, kissing the delicate spot under his ear.
“In me! Now!” Teukie begged, and Jongwoon was more than happy to oblige. This is when Ryeowook closed his eyes, it was sickening, watching Jongwoon leave such passionate kisses on another man. Ryeowook kept having flashes back to them in the shower, and how sweet a sin that had been. Ryeowook felt the bed begin to rock as Jongwoon began to thrust into Teukie, hearing cries of pleasure from the man laying next to him.
Ryeowook didn’t want to admit it but with every moan Teukie gave out, he felt even more jealous and he had wished he hadn’t said no to Jongwoon in the shower, if he hadn’t who knows maybe he would have been having his happy own ending.
“H-harder!” Teukie panted out, as the rocking of the bed became faster. Ryeowook felt something warm splash over his arm. As Teukie and Jongwoon let out loud moans as they both hit their peak then dropped onto the bed. Ryeowook didn’t have to open his eyes to know what the warm liquid was. And he knew there was no damn point in looking at it because he couldn’t go anywhere to wipe it off. So he decided just to go to sleep but the betrayal in his heart wouldn’t let him.
to be continued....
