It's one of those evenings when Sophia is resting and Carol is thoughtful, and so though she tends to avoid crowds, she was thinking of going down the the bar to have a glass of wine.

When she spots Tony drinking alone in the kitchen, she's immediately triggered, and has to remind herself that Tony is everything that Ed is not, and it's okay.

"Hey Tony," she says lightly, "brooding is the new thing?"

Tony smiles and, while he is a bit tipsy here, it's still warm and friendly.

"All the cool kids are doing it," he says, holding the glass up in a 'cheers' motion. "But I should probably be wearing more black for the full effect."

"It would probably do terribly with your complexion," Carol teases back. "I prefer you au naturel."

Oh, look, ma, a flirty compliment.

Tony chuckles and pretends to fix his hair. "Well, with such complements, how can I let myself look any other way?"
