dear justin,

e-letters are fabulous! do you prefer e-letters or snail mail? i'm more of a snail-mail person myself, but i find e-letters more convenient and expedient. it's a shame, really. snail mail has become somewhat of a lost art.

Nope, snail mail! I'm sending them real thank you cards :) There is certainly something to say about having something to hold.

I'm curious of the differences between the two. The hard part of making a movie out of a book is that it has to be condensed.

I'm really enjoying how it is filmed very playful and rich.

I don't like that she sees a girl and seems to fall in love and picture a future based on very little (although there are people like that, of course)

What's really interesting is that, although it seems to be moderate historical fantasy, it is SO realistic. I can picture this being a real story. Also, it's interesting how a lot of the coupling of women seems, realistically, to have little to do with being gay, but more about being alientated from men and finding lovers who the women can relate to.

I totally read that as "Tipping the VALET".

Thanks for coming out to our party! Hope you had a good time and that it was well worth sacrificing some hermitage.
