Kate was currently tuning up. There were refreshments set up in the kitchenette, and also out of puppy range. He's running around right now, sniffing the air with interest and wagging his tail. Will had made sure there was plenty for the guests, and some seating arrangements have been made near where Kate was sitting with her cello.

There were some simple decorations set up by the entrance. Purple streamers mainly, with a few other touches.

The purple streamers are twisted around the various weapons on the walls and Sparrow keeps chasing the end of it as Will laughs at him.

Kate set her cello down since the guests would be arriving soon.

"I thought that run wore him out earlier. Where does he keep it all?"

There were drinks, and mainly food for snacking set up. Easy to eat. Dinner will be happening shortly, but feel free to grab some appetizers in the meantime. Of course there were also desserts as well.

Will was working on making sure that the hot cider and mulled wine were doing what they were supposed to be.

Kate readied her bow, and started to play the first piece. Letting herself focus on the music as she ran the bow over the strings, her fingers adjusting the ranges.

Will holds Sparrow in his lap as Kate plays, both of them relaxed and enjoying her music.

This was the Bach, a light movement that's suited for a solo cello. She threw everything into her playing, keeping the melodies and harmonies moving fluidly.
