DUDE! I just saw The Lion King musical, and it was totally sweet. If I weren't so tired I'd write a reveiw. Review in THE FUTURE.

Now, just know that it is rad and you should see it.

Glad you enjoyed it. I love musicals. I've seen probably 50 or so, but I have to confess the Lion King was kind of near the bottom for me. I saw in in London. Despite the fact of some distant friend of the family thing with the creator, and despite the wonderful visuals, I just didn't engage with the show.

It's one of those musicals that you think "man, this is going to suck"... and then, when you go to it, (even if it's mediocre), it blows your expectations out of the water. I was rather not-excited to see it... but was pleasantly surprised. I liked it. Can't say it's in the top 5 of my favorite musicals, but it's up there.
