Rough draft of my thesis done! Woo!

(incredibly crude) Summary of thesis:
1. My left hand can't give my right hand money.
2. I can't have a private language because it's like giving myself money
3. I can only give someone else money.

Interesting; however, I have a few questions and wonderments I hope you'll entertain.

1. What understanding of giving are you employing? Certainly you can hold out your right hand and your left hand can place money into it.
2. What conception of language are you employing? I think you mean language as exapted for communication and not language simply. Language is primarily a modeling system, and the development of linguistic codes only follow upon but do not constitute the essence of language-possession. So by private language it seems that you're saying you cannot use linguistic codes if you're the only one using them? But even if this is what you're saying, it's pretty manifestly false. A single person may develop a history of naming, even if that history involves (as it inexorably will) linguistic evolution ( ... )

You're going to have to clarify some of your terminology before I can adequately respond. Also, I need to let the thoughts spend some time out of my head before I come back to them ( ... )
