Took a quick trip to Connie's to see Mum for Mother's Day - should have thought twice about any effort to be a good son considering that she and Connie had ganged up and dug out every Mother's Day gift that my primary school hands made her to greet me with. I've always liked that Mother's Day takes place in France months later. It gives me extra time to think up something nice for a gift. Too bad noodle necklaces aren't still considered acceptable ;)

What are you planning to see in Brussels?

Much nicer. My mother, being my mother, insists that we celebrate all of them.
