The beautiful
Doris Lang exits the room, her eyes wide. She is wearing just her pajamas, a slinky under thing, really, her bright eyes wide and her lovely body on display.
"D," She speaks, and when she does, her entire face lights up at him. "D... make sure you take care f yourself too, all right...? I need you."
D's voice rang out, over the the field filled with animals, the small
Dan Lang looking up at him with curious brown eyes.
"Men are never supposed to make a woman cry," D stated softly, bending down to the boy's level, so that the dirty, but still intense face stared back at him, full of youth. "Do you understand? You're a man now."
"I won't make big sis cry," Dan stated, and he grinned towards him.
"You know what D? You're not a bad guy. You're like the big brother I never had."
"Oh? Am I?"
Lina Belan looked over at D, pressing a warm mug of coffee into his leather gloved hands. "Try it," She stated, giving her head a nod and bouncing the few silken braids she had upon her head.
D lifted the mug to his lips, tasting it.
Lina give him an expectant look, much like a kitten awaiting to be pet by its new owner. "Is it good?" The beautiful girl asked.
"Yeah."
"Good! ♥"
"You don't understand. I see my father hasn't told you that I love him, even if Meyer is a vampire."
Charlotte looked towards D, a pleading look in her eyes. "Please, believe me. No one else will."
"You don't understand. He's still a creature," D spoke. "He will still turn you, and if he does, I will have to kill you too."
"Fine then! I would rather die than live a day without Meyer!"
D stared back at her with lavender eyes, in shock.
The human vampire hunter
Leila looked towards D with her bright blue eyes.
"Lets make a promise. Whomever lives through this will visit the other's grave and leave them flowers. How about that? Sounds good?"
Flowers. Someone to leave him flowers. D looked towards the woman.
"All right."
"D, stay with me."
"It's be cool, to have a big brother!"
"I don't have long left to live, do I, D?"
"You wouldn't understand--you've never had anyone to love!"
"Huh? You're leaving flowers here? You knew grandmama?"
And Ichijou Takuma looked over towards the dhampir, a smile on his face, one with emerald green eyes that could light up the room.
"Don't worry," He stated, shaking his head in a way that he always did, so very sure of himself.
"...I'll stay with you."
Their promises. Their words. Dead.
Dead. Just like all the rest.
