Question: Did you use (or have you ever used) a staffing agency? Since my job search is still going nowhere, I'm starting to consider them. However, I did a goog search and I didn't exactly like what I got (very vague results). Do you have any tips/info when it comes to staffing agencies?

that is what i am going through, actually--they have been incredibly helpful. solomon page group is what i am going through. check out their website,(www.spgjobs.com) it has a different site portal for each of their specialized job placement areas. yeah, i don't know that i would have secured any interviews if it weren't for them.

my dad kept telling me to try manpower, but i was really turned off by their site. lots of people mention that one though.

Have you tried finding alumni at HOLAC? That's the main thing I do.

i actually just sent the career center an email yesterday. i am going to set up a phone app. with david bell soon. hopefully that will be helpful.
