Working for Microsoft

After getting the offer details from Northrop Grumman and Microsoft, I think I've made my decision to work for Microsoft. I'll be working on the Excel team in the SDET position (Software Design Engineer in Test). Haven't officially accepted my offer, but will do that probably on Monday ( Read more... )

Hooray! I have no suggestions for you though. Sorry. Oh, you should move there earlier than you start working (like, a few weeks or something) so you can check out all the sights and sounds and get acclimated. Unless you're doing something else over the summer. Then I guess not.

Congrats on the job. I'm sure Excel will be better for it. What are your summer plans?

Current summer plans are to come home after graduation and relax for a month or so. After some of my friends graduate in mid June we're planning a trip to Europe for a few weeks. I'll come home beginning of August and then start thinking about heading up to Seattle to look for a place. Will probably start work the first week of September.
