[The image on the screen shows a wall in a room with a bunch of different pictures on it.  As he moves from one picture to another, Luke's voice can be heard almost like a voiceover, but he's clearly speaking to all of you.]

I been meaning to do this for a while now, especially when I ran across a couple people here who apparently come from a world ( Read more... )

[Hoffman has never been a marvel man. But that's Captain America. This guy knows Captain America.]

...They're from a comic book series man.

.....say what?

[Yeeaaah, no one ever warned Luke about being in a comic book. Sucks when you don't have that name recognition.]

They're from a comic book. I was...never into Marvel unfortunately, but I know Captain's one of theirs.

[Oh shit, now he feels kind of awkward]

I'm sorry. I don't like that fourth walling shit, it never turns out well.

Like.

Do you know Iron man?

Guess I'll have to chalk you up as someone from a world different from mine then. Old boy's alive and well and still kicking much ass where I'm from.

Well man, I'm a good buddy of his so if he's dead, then he does a damn good job of faking it.

And you've tangled with the Hulk? [Color him surprised.]

I'm one of the people from a universe sort of like that. But our guy everyone aspires to be is Superman.

Huh, never heard of that one. What's so "super" about him?

He can fly, he's basically invulnerable, heat vision, freeze breath, he's faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound... He can do anything. [Still a Superman fanboy at age 23, while being basically the guy's adoptive nephew. Dick is a dork.]

Who's that kid in the picture with Captain America?

Wow, somebody was extra good when they got their powers.

Oh, that's Bucky. His sidekick.

It's so cool that our worlds are so closely parallel. I actually recognize some of those people. Though...damn, Scott Summers lived long enough to hit his thirties? How the hell did that happen?

...

Damn. I don't think I have the body to wear some of those bootylicious superhero fashions. I think I'll stick to my leathers.

So who's the guy in the swirly red cape making with the magic?

That's Doc Strange. Sorceror Supreme. Pretty much the most badass magic user on Earth.

So there's such a thing as a Sorcerer Supreme?

Hmmm.

Well, I guess he can keep his title until it's time for him to move over!

Oh yeah. And it's not just some name, it's his actual title. All kinds of dudes from other dimensions recognize it.

[He laughs a bit at that]

More power to ya, girl.

Oh yeah.

Cool guy when he's not pissed. Definitely not fun to be around when he is though.

How do you know him?
