luckily that someone was me. and luckily you listened and updated. i do believe that you will be staying in a single next year, only because i insist on it, mainly because that way i can come up and stay with you when boston is too much for me. and i expect you to come over to boston and do the same.
oh. and you'd best be home for that show on thursday.
I'll tell you Brendo, your summer definitely sounds more exciting than mine - old McTernan folk, lesbians, fireworks - and at least you get to have some different scenery. *Laughs* Sure as hell beats Oxford.
Anyway, I'd say go for the single room. I think most people need to have that "college dorm experience" before getting an apartment. From what my brother's told me, who has had both, and apartment's nice, but then in the event that someone leaves, everyone else who gets stuck with all of that person's bills aren't very happy for the next couple of months. And having your own bathroom is a plus - so from this Hindu, you're getting one vote for the singles dorm.
You'll definitely meet plenty of people in the GDubs just like NewRes, only without the hassle, arguments, and drama that comes along with living with 5 other people.
Stick to the single at GDubs. I can honestly say I lived in NewRes all year, and I made only ONE friend in there, who eventually moved out. ALL my friends either commute or live in the singles on the 4th floor of the GDubs. Go fig!?
You'll meet plenty of people either way. And you'll love the privacy of having your own room as well ;)
P.S. Your photos in your gallery rock - I entered as a photo major but switched to Computer Art at the last second. I probably already said this :doh: oh well :P Looking forward to meeting up in Sept. Hang in there, only two more months, man ;)
Well i understand the need for you to meet new ppl.. but can't you do that in class.. i would take the single.. if i was you.. then you dont have to worry about getting an A class nerd or someone you want to kill every ten minutes out of the day.. Go single.. plus your own bathroom.. very nice..
and im happy your enjoying your stay in the cape.. well kinda.. i love Ptown.. the food is yummy and thinking about it is making me hungry.. so thanks for that :P anywho.. have fun with all the lesbians.. waahoo for that *wink*
