Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
He's pretty much average height for a twenty year old (5' 9"). He's not very muscular, but years of travel have left their mark.

2. How old is he?
20

3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?
Watch him carefully enough and he does slouch very slightly.

4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
He doesn't get sick often and he's perfectly fit. But when he does get sick he's out of it for a week.

5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
He's not exactly clumsy, but you can't describe it as graceful either. When he moves he moves with intent. He knows exactly what he wants to happen here.

6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
He's kind of attractive in a cute kind of way. (There MUST be a reason all these girls crush on him) Ha, what mirror? He usually doesn't care enough but to wash his face, brush his teeth and brush his hair.

7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
He's pretty tan from being out in the sun so much.

8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
Black, spiked up, and probably fairly soft. But mostly kept under a hat.

9. What color are his eyes?
Dark brown

10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
He's got a little zigzag pattern on each cheek. ...I assume they're birthmarks?

11. What are his chief tension centers?
Hands, face, shoulders. It's pretty easy to tell when he gets angry. He'll clench his fists, tense his shoulders and generally look like he's about to throttle you.

12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
Think of Red's jacket. Now make the red parts blue and the white parts black, under that he's wearing a black t-shirt. He's also wearing blue jeans and a red hat ...While he's at the gym.

While he's out traveling he sticks to a blue hoodie, black t-shirt and jeans combination. And a red hat.

13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?
The gym undershirt seems to fit pretty well, but the rest of them are pretty loose. All his clothes are comfortable, not too tight but not too lose either.

14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
...Sort of? See 12 above.

15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
Boxers.

Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
Think of the Japanese version and make it slightly deeper. Very slightly. He still sounds a little girly, but he'll deny that until the end of the world.

2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
He'll usually talk easily, it's loud enough you don't have to strain to hear it. He will hesitate when he tries to find the words.

3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
Uh...not really? He drops a few of his "g"s here and there though. It usually happens when he's feeling relaxed, emotional, or when he's around other people who do it.

4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
English only.

5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
Nope!

6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words?
He doesn't really... think about them so much as he just blurts out whatever comes to mind. He does try and keep a tact filter on, but sometimes it just breaks.

7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
Pretty eloquent. When his feathers get ruffled enough he'll slip back to his younger self's speech patterns, which means some words run together and some 'g's get dropped.

Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart?
He's not book smart at all. Stick him in a class room setting and he'll fail spectacularly.

But put him in a real life situation and he knows exactly what he's doing.

2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?
Thinks on his feet all the time. He'll take his time when he has to though.

3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
Intuitive and generally idealistic. He likes to believe everybody's good.

4. What kind of education has the character had?
...Pokemon world education? Most likely home schooled/lessons from Prof. Oak.

5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about?
Pokemon in almost every capacity. He'd love to learn more about other regions. So he goes and travels to them.

...

What do you mean he has a gym?

6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert?
Extroverted like whoa.

7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
He's even-tempered, cheerful, and a weird mix between laid-back and driven. It just depends on what you're talking about. He's perfectly laid back when it's a gym battle and during contests and usually anywhere else. But get him into a real full battle? We're talking determination for him and his team. They'll want to win! Or at least tie!

8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
He's generally relaxed and enthusiastic. But he's got some common sense, he'll approach weird things with caution.

9. Is he more likely to act, or to react?
Act.

10. Which is his default: fight or flight?
Fight!

11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks?
He's all for jokes and puns and an occasional harmless prank. As long as it doesn't happen to him. Some good natured teasing's fine too.

12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does he deal with them?
No.

13. What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person?
All of his battles against his rivals, meeting his Pikachu, gaining Charizard's trust, and being instated as the Viridian Gym Leader. Oh, and his first loss as a Gym Leader. He was expecting it to happen eventually, but he did leave his gym to go train a lot afterwards.

14. What does he fear?
He fears loosing the people and pokemon that he cares about.

15. What are his hopes or aspirations?
He wants to be a Pokemon Master. Of course, he did pick up the gym, but that was mostly because he figured somebody should run it. Even if he's never there.

16. What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him?
He actually spent a year participating in contests for the heck of it. He'd rather not have anybody know about it though. His favorite pokemon are tiny and cute. There's a maid outfit in the back of his closet. He tends to deny it's existence.

Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents.
He's got a close bond with his mom, even though he doesn't get to see her a lot he usually sends things back home for her.
He hasn't seen his dad in a long while.

2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
Only child here.

3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand?
Nope.

4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them?
Brock's an older brother to him, and all of the girls that he traveled with are like sisters.

In Pokedressing Paul (battlestandby ) might as well be his son.

5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?
Pikachu, they met because he was Ash's starter pokemon.

6. Does he have other close friends?
All of his pokemon?

In Pokedressing Green (insultyoulater )

7. Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people?
He makes friends easily, but he has some troubles when people have very different ways of treating their pokemon. He's also likely to forget people (characters of the day, people he hasn't bonded with, people he hasn't seen in years, etc.).

8. Which does he consider more important: family or friends?
They're both important! Actually Ash tends to think of his friends as family after they've been around each other long enough.

9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has he been married more than once?
He's still in his early twenties, of course he's never been married. But...he's not quite single at the moment either.

10. Is he currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse?
Sort of? In Pokedressing it's with Green (insultyoulater ), it's pretty open though. On Green's end. Ash is totally chill with being this guy's emotional support. currently dating exclusively. Thanks, Paul!

11. Who was his first crush? Who is his latest?
That one girl...Giselle? He never spoke of her again. If crushes only count when you notice them, then nobody at all. If not, than his world's Gary.

In Pokedressing his latest is Green (insultyoulater ). ...It's a little more than a crush now.

12. What does he look for in a romantic partner?
Also a pokemon trainer, strength, kindness, friendship, and easy to talk with. He'd ideally like to have someone he can rely on and who can rely on him. He also enjoys someone who can give him a challenge and unconsciously he's looking for somebody to balance himself out.

13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does he relate to them? If no, does he want any?
He's not that old, and he really doesn't think about it. He pretty much lives in the eternal now. If he ever got around to that point he'd like a kid. He loves their energy and enthusiasm.

14. Does he have any rivals or enemies?
YES. Though he has a habit of forgetting them if he hasn't seen them for a long time. Paul, Gary, Ritchie...actually this is a fairy long list. He...also forgot about some of them. It's been a while since he's seen them all, you see.

15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does he fall on the Kinsey scale?
Let's put him down as a 3/4.

16. How does he feel about sex? How important is it to him?
He's usually busy enough as is and really doesn't think about it. It's not all that important. He'd rather have a meaningful relationship.

In Pokedressing: due to Ash's Green he thinks it's amazing, but Ash doesn't think of it as the most important part of their relationship.

17. What are his turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
Ears and neck are very sensitive. He likes being bitten softly there. Prefers being face to face with a partner. He also likes getting directions in bed. He doesn't know exactly what he's doing there.

Dislikes being unable to see his partner. It's just not something he's comfortable with.

He cuddles, he likes the hazy feeling of post-sex. He'll cross-dress on special occasions, but it's not his favorite thing in the world. If he does it he really likes the person.

Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does he fit type?
He's a Gemini (May 22). Personally I think it fits very well.

2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in his life?
Neither, he doesn't think of them.

3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it?
Be kind and take care of your pokemon. This started since his first day as a trainer and will probably never get broken.

4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
He's usually indifferent as long as it doesn't compromise a pokemon's safety.

5. What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational or does he have a good reason for them?
He has issues with people who abandon their pokemon and don't even try to train them. He's witnessed something like this occur to his Infernape and his Charizard so it just doesn't sit right with him. Also people who abuse their pokemon.

1. What is the character's financial situation? Is he rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
Comfortable? Well, he's a gym leader and travels a lot, I'll assume he's fairly well off.

2. What is his social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected him?
Trainer-> Gym Leader. It didn't seem to change him much. He's significantly calmer, but that may be due to age. He does have to cut some trips short to get back in time on occasion.

3. Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home his castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others?
He really lives on the road. He does have a home in Pallet Town, but it's mostly a place to crash. It's in good condition and he shares it often.

you are violet
#EE82EE
Your dominant hues are red and blue. You're confident and like showing people new ideas. You play well with others and can be very influential if you want to be.

Your saturation level is lower than average - You don't stress out over things and don't understand people who do. Finishing projects may sometimes be a challenge, but you schedule time as you see fit and the important things all happen in the end, even if not everyone sees your grand master plan.

Your outlook on life is bright. You see good things in situations where others may not be able to, and it frustrates you to see them get down on everything.
