[After several attempts to turn on the PCD with no proper thumbs, Pyro or Chibi Momo appears on the screen yapping. Placing her paw on the screen, she taps at it and barks again. Unaware, Chibi Momo has not understood that turning into a dog means speaking dog as well. The barks in her ears sound like perfect English.]

Ringo? What is it?

Barking at the screen again, she stood on her hind legs and pawed at the air.]
(Ringo? Why is Mr. Hawk calling me Ringo? It's me, Pyro! See! Ringo doesn't sound like me!)

(Besides the fact I have paws? Not really. How am I supposed to make bacon with these?)

You at the park?

(How did you know!?)

You be a good dog and stay where you are, alright?

(Funny, really funny. You're so good with jokes.
Please bring me some bacon, I'm hungry.)

Spot on. I'll be there soon.
[And with that, he fumbles with the phone until it hangs up. By 'soon,' he must've meant 'a little over an hour,' because that's how long it takes for him to dress warmly enough for the cold weather, get down the stairs in one piece, and hobble to the park with his crutch. He looks fairly exhausted by the time he gets there, but determination is an excellent motivator.
He eases himself onto a bench, pulling the hood tighter around his neck to keep out the chill. He reaches into the crook of the sling holding his broken arm, pulling out a blueberry muffin. With it in hand, he gives a whistle.]

A whistle snapped her out of her thoughts and made her ears perk up in the direction of the sound. Running as fast she could on her four padded feet, soon she would reach where Sniper was with a happy pant.]
(There you are! It took awhile. I mean, I should of guessed with your injuries.)
[As she thought on it, she let out a gasp.]
(Wait, you came all this way and brought a blueberry muffin just for me?! Mr. Hawk really does care about me!)
[Shoving her paws on his legs, she prodded him with them several times in revelation.]

Watch the leg, Ringo. It's still a bit sore.
[He set the muffin on the ground, rubbing the pain from his wounded knee.]
Hope that's still good. It's a few days old, but shouldn't be too bad.

Being a dog sure was strange, there were no cheeks to shove food bits in! Instead, little crumbles of blueberry muffin dropped to the ground as she chewed and chewed. When she was finished (which didn't take long), Chibi Momo barked at Sniper again.]
(More please!)

[He shifted on the bench, trying to make himself comfortable in spite of the sharp aching from his leg. Though the trip wasn't far, his muscles were all weary, unused to any amount of walking after weeks in the hospital.]
Probably should have taken the medication today. I'm fairly certain Pyro won't be happy when she finds out I've not been taking it, or that I left at all.

(Uh... Hello? I'm right here. What are you talking about?)
[Jumping up onto the bench by his side, she stared up at his face with large puppy dog eyes.]

Ya don't have to worry about me. I don't hurt that much. S'just that... well, they mess with my head.
[He shifted again, another groan pushing itself from him. Okay, he did hurt that much, but admitting it made it worse. With another look to Chibi Momo, he gave her a good scratching behind her ears.]

Sniper couldn't tell she was Momo. To Sniper, she was just a little white ball of fur. She was no longer human if her comrade was treating her so nicely.
It was weird to think being a dog would make all the difference in how sweet he could be...]
(You don't know who I am, do you?)
[Stopping her tail from wagging. Chibi Momo laid down on her side and whimpered repeatedly.]
