Fiddles with the scarf he's wearing in the reflection of the living room window.

It doesn't look right no matter what.

"Warren?" Isabel calls. "Stop fiddling. Just take it off, honey." She peeks out of the kitchen and walks closer to him. "It doesn't look that bad."

"Scabby," he grumbles.

It itches too.

[alien_isabel]

"Come here, baby." She tugs at the scarf and then places her hand above the scar. She focuses hard and moves her hand over, which hopefully relieves the itching a bit. "Let me put some cream on it to stop it being all flaky."

He scratches at it anyway; makes a face.

"That stuff stings."
