On second thoughts, dyeing my hair red for the summer probably wasn't the best idea. The saying goes that horses sweat, men perspire and ladies glow. In the current weather walking all of a few feet has me glowing furiously, and in a colour that doesn't sit well with the hue of my hair

Goodness, all these commenters so grumpy about maxi dresses! I'm loving this season's fashion: maxi dresses, leggings, puffed sleeves and tulip skirts? Oh dear, I belong to the 1980's. I'm sorry, Lizzie. I will understand if you never want to talk to me again.
