Natalia blinked as she looked towards her door, already debating whether or not she should answer it. Her hands made its way to her head as she shook her head slightly. This day was not turning out as she had expected. She did not expect her fiancée to have a date with another woman. And she most certainly did not expect for her affections to change from Luke to Guy.
Her mind told her to not open the door, as it would be too much embarrassment for her. But it would be rude to just come up with a lie and tell him to go away. Coming to a decision, she stood and tentatively walked to the door and opened it, taking a step back to allow Guy to come in if he wanted to. "...Yes, Guy?”

"Oh, Natalia," he said quickly, smiling and running a hand awkwardly through his hair. "Can I...come in?--or we could go somewhere else if you want! I...think we should talk." He glanced away, smiling bitterly at the dilapidated wall.

Had someone told him last week that today he would be feeling this things (she was so beautiful, why had he not noticed before?), he would have laughed it off--but here he was, admiring the princess of Kimlasca's bright eyes, the slope of her neck, the way she held her head.
"We have to wait," he said finally, though it was the last thing he wanted to do. "We...can't be rash here, when it could cost us so much." Though perfectly logical, those words were painful to speak. Painful.
