[What the shit. Minami never expected Rise to dream about things like that.]

Will you be okay, Rise-pyon? Want me to get you something to drink from the kitchen?

[It's not as if she had some way of choosing what she could dream about.]

Yeah, do you mind, Minami-chan? Just water is fine.

[Yeah, but... Dreams are from the subconscious, right? Minami is wondering what that's doing in her subconsciousness. She nods.]

No problem. Just wait a sec, 'kay?

[She ends the call and goes down to the kitchen to pour some iced water into a glass, not bothering to change out of her pink pajamas. It's the middle of the night, after all. After a few minutes, Minami's knocking on Rise's room door.]

... Hey, it's me.

[notjust_risette]

[By the time Minami knocked on the door, Rise had already made her way back to her bed, sitting quietly on the edge as she mused quietly to herself.]

Come in. The door's unlocked.

Pardon the intrusion, then.

[Minami turned the knob with her free hand and slowly pushed the door open. She peeks inside before entering, then closes the door behind her. She takes a seat next to Rise, and offers the glass of water to her.]

... Here. Mind telling me about it...?

[notjust_risette]

Thanks.

[Takes the glass and takes a few small sip from it. As soon as she's done it, she plays with the condensation around the glass, clinking the ice together.]

Oh yeah, you weren't here when we all talked about it.

[She blinks.]

I guess so... Did something like that happen in Inaba?

[notjust_risette]

Yeah... It did. Minato-kun and Akihiko-kun told us about a lot of things that happened to them - [A beat.] - And I'm guessing you too back in Port Island. Senpai and some of the others were around too back then.

[A bit of a laugh. That seemed so long ago that she was the only one around. Most of her friends from Inaba were no longer around and this was just another reminder that they were no longer around.]

This is what we had to deal with back home.

Oh... Sounds tough. It's just as bad as dealing with Tartarus and The Lost in Port Island.

[Hmm... What else could she say as a friend?]

Well, at least it was only a dream. Besides, if anything bad happens again back home, you have people from Port Island to back you up along with your friends!

[A bit of a smile grows on her lips.]

Yeah, I'm sure everyone's safe. We caught the guy anyway and I'm sure that he won't be escaping anytime soon. [She pauses a little before taking another sip of water.] It was just a bad thing to remember.
