[...To first pick up the Dreamberry and experience something like this is...well, to say the least, a little shocking. That was definitely a dead body, something that causes a sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach, a look of horror growing on her face. Yukari presses her hand to her chest, other holding the device, blinking into it in surprise and having no idea that it has connected to someone else's Dreamberry.]

[Somehow Rise had been too deep in thought to recall the Dreamberry at first but as soon as she hears the voice coming from someone coming from the device she made her way back onto the bed to fetch the discarded item. She may not have known the person, but she lets out a sigh as she runs her free hand through her hair.]

[Wait, so...it's like a phone? She fumbles with it for a moment, feeling flustered and unusually embarrassed.]

Er...I'm sorry, but I don't understand. What was that?

[It was odd being asked something like that at first but it doesn't take long for Rise to realize that the unfamiliarity of the device must've meant that this person was new.]

It was a dream... A dream I just had.

[That didn't matter. Talking to someone - or anyone, really - help distract her even slightly.]

[Shiki gasps, covering her mouth with her free hand as she watched the dream unfold. She gulps before putting her hand done in order for her to talk to her friend.]

[Lloyd's eyes are wide as he watches the dream. He'd meant to turn his Dreamberry off when he realized what it was, but his finger had hovered above the button, forgotten, as soon as he saw the body.]

R-Rise? Was that... Are you all right?

[It had been a while since they've talked and Rise couldn't but feel a little relieved after seeing the familiar face of her friend on the screen.]

Yeah, I am, Lloyd. At least I think I am. [She trembles slightly, still a little shaken from the dream.]

[He hadn't been certain she wanted to talk to him. She'd asked for time, so he'd been giving her some space.

But he isn't about to ignore her when she'd been crying in her dream, and even if it was just a dream, she still sounds shaken up.]

Was that real? I mean, did that really happen? [He quickly adds as it dawns on him that he's prying-] You don't have to answer.

[She shakes her head. Even she knew that she'd be worse off if it had actually played out like that.]

No. Well, not exactly like that.

[What the shit. Minami never expected Rise to dream about things like that.]

Will you be okay, Rise-pyon? Want me to get you something to drink from the kitchen?

[It's not as if she had some way of choosing what she could dream about.]

Yeah, do you mind, Minami-chan? Just water is fine.

[Yeah, but... Dreams are from the subconscious, right? Minami is wondering what that's doing in her subconsciousness. She nods.]

No problem. Just wait a sec, 'kay?

[She ends the call and goes down to the kitchen to pour some iced water into a glass, not bothering to change out of her pink pajamas. It's the middle of the night, after all. After a few minutes, Minami's knocking on Rise's room door.]

... Hey, it's me.

[By the time Minami knocked on the door, Rise had already made her way back to her bed, sitting quietly on the edge as she mused quietly to herself.]
