1. i have been embarrassingly neglectful of my christmas calendar this year. i just caught up on chocolates Dec 8th through 18th. unghhhh they have a strange aftertaste, especially when consumed en masse

Do you take screenshots of your calendar widget? That's just beyond geeky, so considered yourself complimented. I dislike Christmas cards as a rule, they usually say "hey I don't really care enough about you to visit or buy you a present... but look isn't this puppy in a Santa hat cute!" Even though the people who design greeting cards probably just mail them in to the company, I always envision this depressing office filled with greeting card artists, everyone just slowly dying inside from all the recombined sappy imagery and poetry, the horror that is Hallmark.... Um anyway, Merry Christmas?

boo! the weather was giving me false hope for a white christmas. I guess there's still time for it to get... 8 degrees colder :(
