[From Earth, ID-1 looks like a glimmering star. If you had a decent pair of binoculars, you might be able to make out a few of it's features. If you had a decent telescope, you could make out the A-Laws fleet stationed around it. Lyle has a live feed from ID-1 itself, so he's got the best view you could hope for

The one good thing about the Independence-1's computer core being destroyed is that, should the A-LAWS betray the GDF, they won't have access to any sensitive information. It still makes me uncomfortable to rely on Ribbons Almark's lackeys for protection.

Fortunately, the Ptolemaios II is...elsewhere at the moment, but I'd still rather see them gone.
