... when scientists and educators and whatnot are urged to "teach the controversy," I find it irritating that these controversies, for some reason, perhaps by sheer coincidence, are otherwise tied to Christian mythology.

If we're intent on teaching the controversy for the sake of academic honesty, we should include -every- applicable mythology
