Obama hosted a star party on the White House lawn.

They apparently bussed over a bunch of kids, and invited a number of astronomy-related celebrities, including Buzz Aldrin. He encouraged kids to tackle astronomy, science--the future--and then they went to go play with the telescopes.

Warms my heart. :)
