[The yelling startles her enough that she forgets herself, tripping over her own feet and sending herself sprawling across the pavement. When she pushes herself up, one shaking hand points back the way she came.]

[A normally completely unfounded fear, but one that actually seems to only make her more hysterical now that she's thinking about it.]

[Getting to her feet, her knees and palms are scratched from multiple falls, one of them is bleeding a little. The brunette hardly seems to notice as she points back toward the rec center.]

[ He's been to the rec center pool once already, and was- perhaps foolishly- on his way back again. Mika very nearly runs him over, but he manages to get out of the way, and snaps a hand out to catch her by the arm ]

She almost drags him down with her but somehow manages to keep her feet under her this time, pointing back towards the rec center and making a noise that is one of completely inhuman distress.]

[ He clamps his hands on her shoulders, trying to get her to look at him ] Mika, please! Calm down.
