[A. Phone | Filtered from Herr Major]Hey guys, I know this is going to sound fairly unusual but I have a couple requests to make. There's a few new kids in town, really young, and I just want to make sure they'll be safe if things go completely insane around here. Also there's a girl who needs protection from her house's father, and I wanted to ( Read more... )

What is it that he is capable of that would wipe out your household?

If the in-house werewolf is turned into pulp easily by this guy, then the eleven-year-old and both myself and the beanpole that's my fake husband are certainly not going to stand a chance.

Trust me, we wouldn't last more than a few minutes.

I see... Is it that he has strength or does he use a form of magic?

He's not entirely human is part of the problem. Annie said he was part cyborg.

[not even a few days in and already fun things are happening.]

Sounds rough. I'm still settling in so I don't know how much it'd be worth to hear, but I'd like to help them in any way I can.

[right after he makes a trip to the hardware store, of course.]

What can you tell me about the girl's dad?

Aside from he's a psychopathic cyborg nazi sadist? Not much.

[three out of those four register right with him.]

...You lost me at cyborg.

[Ummmmm whoops? There's only a brief moment before she comes up with an alternative.]

He's part robot?

I'd have to check with my housemates, but I might be able to make some room for her. And, I can teach her some basic combat maneuvers if that would help at all.

I think it might help. She's got some special abilities but I don't know if she's able to use them right now or not. Some extra training might help her a lot.

If she's new, then she probably doesn't have them yet. Send her my way over at 851 Goldberg Street, or to the flower shop. Ask for Major General Olivier Armstrong.

I don't know how new here she is, I only just met her and we didn't get much time to talk.

Major Armstrong? [Her ears perk, but she huffs in affirmation.] Got it.

[Oh, right. He gave this one advice when he was moping about his break up. And now he kind of feels like an asshole because her situation is a lot more important.]

Any luck?

I'd offer, but I can't put my hivemates at risk like that.

[It's okay, Karkat. Being a teenager is hard and Mika does understand.]

It's fine, I totally understand. It's one of the reasons why we can't keep her here. I know he can murder at least three of us easily, and I don't want to put the youngest kid here in that kind of danger either.

But yeah, it looks like I'm getting a lot of offers, I'll have to talk to her and see who she'd be comfortable with. Someone suggested she stay in different places, that way there might be less of a chance for him to track her down.

That's good.

What's the name of this dangerous fuck? A lot of the assholes I know from back home have just arrived, and I guess I consider myself partially responsible for making sure they don't die.

Thanks again for the help, by the way.

I just know him as the Major. I don't think he has a proper name. He's really good at hiding his sadistic side until it's too late from what I've heard. She had no idea what he was like until he was forcing her to drink milk with razorblades in it while he watched.

While I don't know about Terra-chan yet, I'm quite a capable fighter, I'd say.

Who is the child you're speaking of and who is the so called father?

I don't really want this getting out because I'm not entirely sure who I can trust yet. So pardon me if I seem hesitant to say it in the open. I don't want this getting out.

It's Tsukino Usagi and her Mayfield assigned father is a man called the Major.

That's understandable. [ It's not as if he'd blab to people about things if he doesn't gain anything on it, anyway, so it wouldn't get out through him. ]

I've heard of him. I think he's been mentioned in some conversation that I've happened to overhear.

If there's anything I can help with, I wouldn't mind doing so.

At this point I don't really know how to have anyone help. She needs a safe place to stay and someone willing to watch over her on her trips back to the house so she doesn't get droned.
