How's the water?

[The observant might hear the faintest rustling of wind and fabric, the far off dip and splash of whatever's in the loch.]

A little chill never hurt anyone.

A lot might give you hypothermia.

Just be careful. Keep your iron close by you, and walk away the moment you hear singing.

Hey, keep an eye out! That place is dangerous!

[He narrows his eyes and leans in conspiratorially.]

There's something huge in the water there...like a sea monster.

[His body is still stiff and sore from eploring the crypt beneath the graveyard, but Sheik is out and about once again, seldom ever the type to take a break. But, catching sight of Saki at the docks, he decides to go over.

There's little reason to. Time taught him well about the bonds between people and how foolish it can be to let them strengthen. Perhaps it's just self-indulgence, he thinks, dryly, as he drops from the roof of the nearest croft.

His approach is almost totally soundless, but he decides that she might not appreciate someone sneaking up on her. So he allows a little more weight into his steps as he walks along the wooden surface, looking out over the loch as he stands a little way away from her. His lyre, crown of rowan, and one long knife hang at his back.]

It tends to be the thoughtful type, that will gaze out over a lake like this.

[Her socks and shoes are off, resting just a bit away from her, and her trouser legs rolled up. Her feet don't quite touch the water's edge.

Raising her head at the approaching footsteps. There's the tiniest quirk of her lips,]

I'm an exception.

[You're evasive, he notes inwardly, glancing at her briefly before eyeing the water again.]

Passing time?

[Big talk from the man in the cowl.]

Yeah. Something like that. What's up?
