[It's like watching the Midnight channel again. He's so sure it's Saki, but he can't believe that it could possibly be. He peers at the feed, eyes wide. Duibhin's footsteps get fainter and fainter as he continues to stare, rooted, at the feed.]

There's no way he could forget that voice.

A soft noise escapes him, almost a hiss. He bites his lip and fumbles with the communicator, ready to open up a feed to her and...

[His hand falters. No. He can't. Can he? But he has to - he's on the watch, she showed up on his round, it's his job. He has to contact her...

His stomach twists and his innards writhe. His heart thuds somewhere in his throat.

[He takes a breath and is about to speak when the lump in his throat chokes out his words. He turns the camera away, so that all that is visible on his end is a blur before the camera settles on the white snow. The view is shaky as he trembles somewhat.

He wants to go to her. He wants to help her. But it takes nothing for memories of the Other liquor store to float to the surface.

[The video feed clicks on and Jr.'s friendly face greets Saki. He waves.]

[Of course she did, so he continues without waiting for an answer.]

This is Demeleier. In a nutshell, you've been kidnapped by faeries and taken to this world. The crown of rowan on your head is for your own protection, so don't take it off, okay?

[He'll stop here to let her digest that.]

[Her brow lines at his chuckling, not quite smoothing over when it stops. She manages to keep her voice even, however.]

I'm glad.. It's probably weird to arrive here all of a sudden, but you get used to it after a while. I promise!

[He waited a while, just to let her get settled, just to let Yosuke get some handle on the situation, maybe. Seeing Saki again is strange, not least because she died, but because she was... the catalyst of the Investigation Team. Souji was sure they'd have ended up in the tv world either way - Izanami had made that decision, after all - but Saki had been the first thing to really push them. Her death, at least.]

Wait. Transfer student? Saki's brow furrows as she blinks into the feed briefly, before shaking her head.] Not really.

Alright. It might seem pretty weird, but...

[He's pretty sure you've been to the TV world. It probably won't be that weird.]

This place is called Demeleier. The people here have been brought from... different places. There are people here from Inaba and there are people here who have never even heard of Japan.

For the time being, we're trapped here. That's mostly thanks to the fae that tend to have run of the place, though we're helped out by someone called the Guardian.

Not all of the fae are bad, but most of them seem to enjoy either being mischievous or being malicious.

[Or both.]

You woke up with a wreathe of berries and twigs. It helps defend againt some of the fae, and their magic. You'll also be given a link of iron, and that'll help do the same.
