Yesterday I was helping an Aikido noob learn how to roll (ukemi, it's called). *smile* well, thank you. Thing is though, it's really not about me. She's the one doing all the work (including all the sweaty rolling around *grin*). I just gave her the tools, and a few pointers. Her wanting to improve and taking action is really what did it. I think I know what you mean though, so, you know, thanks :)

I may have suggested a book to you before, its called "Tricks of the Mind" by Derren Brown. (only available via amazon.co.uk not amazon.com last time I checked). He's a British hypnotist/mentalist guy who debunks mystics, faith healers, and all of those spiritual psychics ( ... )
