Yeahahaha the skin was planned from the beginning but the bones came into the picture a bit later. Originally I wanted them to find a way to get the book but there really isn't any..rational method of obtaining it XDDD

Yeah in their village they did it to pretty much every kid. It's an irrelevant detail tbh. It's kinda a way to remind people that in the Valid vs Invalid battle, the Invalid community also have flaws and aren't completely innocent victims ;; minor detail for myself kinda hahaha.
