I think, when I was with the carnival, I felt more human than I ever did when I was alive.

When I was alive I'd have probably let someone talk me into covering my ears and filing my teeth down to make me be normal, but it was...different. I knew I was accepted how I was, so I didn't feel like I had to be something else.

I know...although there was more to it there. I actually had people who tried to keep me safe, who were concerned for me when the mobs came.

I hope we have many more like that. Lately the floods seem to be rather fortunate; first the musical flood, then this.

I don't think I've ever seen you before the breach. Were you essentially the same as you really are?

Oh? I was better too. My memories were the same, up until my death where they diverged, of course, but still...I felt better, too.

You should not have to modify yourself to fit in, however. I could quite easily change my appearance to look more human. I have chosen not to.

I guess not. I would rather not have fangs though, normally...but it was nice not caring.
