[There's the sound of rustling for a moment. The sound of footsteps approaching and getting louder for a moment, before the communicator is lifted off the ground.]

Damnit... [He says quietly.] Sheva can you hear me. [There's a small pause, and he was hoping that his own radio would work at this point. So much for hope. He had a feeling it was ( Read more... )

Seifer isn't here anymore.

And you missed quite a bit in your short absence. [Will you stay this time, or will you leave shortly hereafter too?]

I figured.

And so I hear. I'm glad to hear you're around, Giovanni. I heard we were attacked.

We were. It was a desperate move conducted by a desperate people. But they were foolish... And somehow we pulled through. I'm not quite entirely sure how; we were limited. But. [He just stops there.]

Now I wonder what will happen next. Are there more out there, and how will they react.

Do we know much about then other then that? From what I understand they were looking for medicine, the scientists, and some machine. I'm glad we managed to pull through. [The fact he stopped has him worried.] But?

We need to prepare for what happens next. We'll need some sort of tactic. Do we know how they got into the city?

[He makes an amused sound that...isn't amused.] We survived.

By sea, or by air. I'm not sure which but they showed up at the docks right on time. You've got the facts straight as far as anyone knows them--other than to include they were from Hollisland. We were warned... but it was right, I think, what we did. They just... weren't anymore. [Sane, that is.]

Ah. [Yeah that would make sense now would it?]

Has anyone questioned Knowlton? [He thinks about it for a moment.] Is he still in the hospital for that matter? What we need to do is find out what he was sent to do and why the soldiers from Hollisland arrived. Knowlton arrived by air.

It's not too far off to think they're from the same area.

You mean you didn't know? Of course he was from Hollisland.

He's still unconscious as far as I know. Better, stable, but unconscious and definitely not talking in any case. Otherwise he might actually be useful instead of a house ornament.

I wasn't kept up on the details. I got caught up with the disease.

Who is watching him? We should keep an eye on him and ask him questions once he's awake. He might be able to give us some more detail on what happened.

Aah.

Now? I'm not entirely sure. A few of the doctors and their assistants... Rika, perhaps? I'm not sure if the Watch assigned anyone to him. [He hasn't kept up with it too much since Seifer left other than to an eye on Credo's job so far. He isn't really pleased.]

We should work on fixing that. Get someone to keep an eye on him with Rika until he wakes up. We can't let him get out of the hospital, not after what happened.

Credo is in charge now correct? Do we know who is left? [He sighs. This doesn't sound too good at all.]

I'm more worried about my family. [Don't you dare recruit him. He's trying his best not to-- God damn Seifer, somehow this is your fault.]

He is. And you would have to take your question about the Watch to him. It's none of my business.

That's fine. You have your sons here, don't you? [He had seen them around the network now that he thought about it.]

Right. Sorry, Giovanni. I was getting a little carried away. [he sighs some.] I appreciate your help though. Especially when it comes to helping Discedo.

...And my wife. [/softly]

It is fine. I am glad to be of service, especially when it comes to the well-being of others. ...Buona fortuna, Chris.

Your wife is here too? [That both relieves and worries him. But he knew she was well protected.]

Despite it all, I'm always glad for your help. [He chuckles some.] You do all right when Hollisland attacked?

Yes. A recent arrival, just before this mess. [It does the same to him unfortunately.]

I didn't get killed, and neither did my family. I suppose that counts as 'all right', sì?

Damn...I'm glad she's safe then. She's lucky to have you, though.

I believe that counts. Your family manages to keep themselves alive. [He would smile if he was on video. Because it's so true.]
