The Lab on Grosse Ile

Joel, Jason, and John visited the Lab in 2007 and were anticipating a return visit to this unique haunted attraction on the main island of Grosse Ile.  I was intrigued by this attraction because their article in Fear Finder was promising, especially due to the prominence of comical animatronics and live actors, such as the

I enjoyed the review but I do have one point of contention, you say that we only saw three or four live actors...that's not even close to accurate. I think I can name a dozen off the top of my head...Dr. Sprinkles and his corpse that rose from the chair, Dr. Pickles and the werewolf that he fought back into the crate, the Black Lagoon creature, the gutted corpse girl and the chainsaw guy that chased us away from her plus there was a girl that was trapped inside the room across from them who started screaming when drew near. There was also the irradiated skeleton in the first room and that guy toward the end that attacked us with that cattle prod. There was also two chicks who screamed at us from drop down windows near the armed guard at the end of the haunt. There was also that guy dressed as a plant. That's 14 and I'm probably forgetting at least a couple.

While I couldn't recall every live actor, the ones I did remember were spectacular nonetheless. I do now remember the corpse girl and the chainsaw guy chasing us away, because I remember saying, "How can that girl with her intestines hanging out have the strength to scream so loud?" I still rated the live actors 8/10, which meant those I did remember were good enough to carry a high ranking despite my neglect to remember some of the lesser ones.

How do you know that the 9-foot creature prowling around outside was named Chuck?

The Lab actually has one of the better websites I've been on for haunted attractions. They have character profiles, in which one of them is the figure wandering outside.

Oh cool. Yeah, I've been to their site but I must've overlooked the character bios. They actually only recently published that site, prior to that they had a shitty site with scarce information.
