I saw it - loved it, and let a comment on the podcast's website. It brought back once-traumatic memories of my own jr. high and high school gym classes. I recently ran into an old school mate who was able to confirm the stories that my wife thought I was making up or exaggerating -- like the teacher who showered with the students, or having to stand in line naked to get a school-supplied swim suit, or the gym teacher/health teacher who had an ass phobia. He always ranted about drying yourself off in the proper order - "face first and ass last!" He also raged about baths vs showers. "How the HELL can you get clean, splashing around in the same filthy water that your ASS is in?!!!"
He was a maniac.
And my sister confirms that in the 70s, the girls actually did the exercise, "We must, we must, we must develop our bust"
Wow! I just read your comment on the site. Adults sure do tend to belittle kids' experiences at school. Like, "What do you know? Wait till you get into the real world with a job, then you'll know hard!" Yeah, and by then you are also able to tell creepy guys with clingy towels to fuck off.
You actually may be in danger of fire and brimstone. Just be sure to keep an umbrella with you everywhere you go, and eat a diet high in iron. I hear it helps to numb the burn of the sulfur.
