I'm really enjoying this story, love how its developing and can't wait to read on. Stevie and Xabi seem to come across as the nicer pair but it's early days and the conflict so far has been focused on Sergio and Nando so we know them a little better. Still there are seeds there, Stevie's willingness to leave Nando and Detroit if the option came up, Nando's insecurities and lack of self confidence etc.
Anyway, loving it and can't wait to see what happens next

Great update! This fic is shaping up to be very interesting, I adore the dialog. It's funny, witty and kinda cute, I'm sold.
I guess their differing opinions about Detroit/leaving the city/reasons for staying could come between Fer and Stevie, although they seem quite settled and happily in love at this point (and, surprise, I like it). Sergio telling Xabi off was sort of hilarious - guess his words will come back to haunt him later ;)
Fernando's hidden insecurities suit him surprisingly well imo. While he may seem brazen and self-assured while in the professional world, his doubts an anxieties make him more complete, somehow. I just want to hug him ad tell him he's great and totally deserves everything good that comes his way - f*ck the bullies!
As always, I'm looking forward to more already. Enjoy your vacation and I hope you'll be able to get over the whole sucky Cesc saga... Feel better!
