Kristen and I just spoke to a reporter for channel 5 news (local) and he is set up in the parking lot next to Hardee's. He's getting ready to do a story on the evacuees that are arriving soon. Also, a few of our helicopters just took off about 30 min. ago. I'm thinking to go get people?

That's awesome! We were expecting 1,100 evacuees here in Wisconsin, but only a few arrived. According to the news tonight, very few survivors were willing to be transported so far from their home, so Wisconsin has been put "on hold". Bless our state's citizens for being so willing to help!

From what we are hearing here, we have close to 70,000 evacuees here in Arkansas and a couple thousand so far here in our city. I am quite proud of all that this state is doing for these people.

That's great. We've got a few thousand here, at our military base. I was going to take some stuff there, but they said on the news the supplies out number the evacuees. They actually have too many supplies. What a great problem to have. Most of the Oklahoma evacuees are further south, though, I don't think a lot of them even wanted to come this far north.

That's great that OK. has alot of supplies. I am really surprised that they wanted to come out here as we are as north as you can get here in AR.

Oh hey, thought I recognized that news van. They were interviewing some of the voluteers over at the community building yesterday, and I saw them leaving towards to camp grouds when I went looking for boxes.
