Megamind is completely unimpressed with the lack of technology this place has to offer.

“Primitive, that’s what this is - hardly an ounce of scrap metal to work with.” He’s grumbling under his breath as he prowls the grounds, face twisted into a weary and tired expression. He hadn’t slept well since arrival - not that he slept much to begin with ( Read more... )

...the doctor seemed perfectly nice to me.

[Bryn wonders what he observed to consider Sycora suspicious.]

[Blink. Bryn goes silent a moment.]

It isn't a guarantee of being trustworthy, but it could be indicative...has she done or said something to make you suspect something?

[Clever girl, whoever she might be.]

She is staff and therefore suspect. [Along with this one herself. But, he plows onward.]

Has she done something wholly selfless that has garnered your immediate trust and good faith? Besides simply being ‘nice’, I mean.

Oh, this and that - kidnapping, for starters. [He sounds miffed about that. *He* is the one that does the kidnapping, thankyouverymuch.]

On the other hand, it scares her to realize how quickly trusting she'd been, and how it was entirely too soon to tell whether this place was as safe as it seemed.]

[Heh. Instilling ribbons of doubt and tendrils of apprehension. He's good at being a jerk.]

That's something you might want to figure out. A glorified prison is still just that - a prison.

[And he is intimately familiar with prisons.]
