[The audio clicks on, and Megamind’s voice is clipped and irritated. There are telltale sounds of water sloshing in the background as he speaks, but he either doesn’t notice, or he simply isn’t commenting on it.]
Rem. While I do appreciate your generosity, I have to confess I find your idea of recompense rather lacking. Can’t you find something

There's flipping through pages.
More flipping through pages.
Bryn turns replies with audio, and sounds somewhat amused.]
You're a bit early this month, you know...
Reply
[Pause. Back that truck up.]
Excuse me?
Reply
Well, you usually post around this time of the month. I wasn't expecting anything until the fifteenth but you have been following a pattern of posting around this time each month.
[She pauses a beat.]
What is it you're doing for Rem?
Reply
[…Has he? Oh, Zeus above -
He drags his arms out of the water and frantically flips through the pages, splashing water everywhere. Pardon him if his responses sound a bit…wet.]
No. No. I am not predictable!
[He clears his throat.]
Nothing that I can’t handle, however it’s not something someone of my caliber should be doing.
Reply
[Is it strange that she noticed? Oh, friend, she appears to be paying close attention to you without even knowing it.]
I wouldn't say that you're predictable so much as your...record keeping habits.
[Another pause.]
Would you like some help with...whatever it is? Perhaps it's better suited to someone of my caliber...
Reply
I didn’t - it wasn’t -- that’s not intentional and there’s nothing wrong with being meticulous!
[There’s a splash - and if there is a way to make such a thing sound indignant, Megamind can do it. Because that splash? Was done in a huff.]
No!
No. You do not need to-
[He already feels ridiculous and Bryn does not need to lower herself. She is above this, above him, above everyone. She is not doing his task.]
No. I’m quite fine.
Reply
[She sees nothing wrong with his predictability. Nothing.]
Are you certain you don't want help? Or company? I don't have anything else to do at the moment...
Reply
You would be disturbed, if I were to suddenly vanish from the grounds? [This, in some strange, twisted way, pleases him greatly - though he knows he shouldn’t be pleased at the fact that Bryn would be upset if he were to vanish, but there’s something inside of him that is quite happy about that revelation, if that’s what it is.]
Ah…
[He’s not adverse to her company, ever - however, he’s not terribly certain he really wants her seeing him doing dishes.
It’s not exactly a very villainous thing to be doing.]
…Well…
Reply
Of course I would be upset! You're one of my closest friends, Megamind.
[Hmph. Bryn scowls at her record a moment. How could he even think to question that?]
Where are you. I'll join you.
[Now you have no choice.]
Reply
Er. The ah - the kitchens.
Reply
[And she is. Bryn walks in with purposeful strides into the kitchen, and immmediately scans the room for her tall, blue friend.]
Reply
[Oh, crap.
He's still elbow deep in suds and when she appears he begins to try and frantically make himself presentable. Also, he's a bit petrified of her at the moment - but!
Can't let that show, can we?]
Ah - you were...a bit...faster than I expected.
Reply
Well, I wanted to see what you were trying to hide.
[She flashes him a smile.]
Take drying duty, okay? I'm used to washing these...
[After all, clean up is all part of cooking, and she's washed more than a few dishes, pots, and pans here for Joe.]
Reply
He’s also mostly soaked. He’s not exactly good at doing these household tasks - that had been Minion’s job.]
…The fact I am currently engaged in extremely non-villainous and potentially reputation ruining duties.
[He watches her helplessly until she starts rolling up her sleeves, and he frantically waves his arms, shaking his head.]
Ah, no no - you don’t have to, honestly -
[Really, it’s his mess he got himself into. Rem’s just a jerk that likes to humiliate Megamind in creative ways.]
Reply
All the more reason to support my helping you, and no, you don't get a choice in the matter.
[Another smile, with more confidence than it usually holds.]
Besides, this way if anyone walks in they'll see me doing the washing, not you. At worst you'd be assisting.

But--
[There's no question about it, she's successfully gotten him out of the way, though he's quick to come back up beside her, scowling. He's certainly not going to let her do the work for him - if there's at least one thing he learned in prison, it's that you worked for what you wanted. He's worked hard his entire life to rid the city of Metro Man, and once the man was gone, that would make it all the sweeter than if the man were to just leave on his own.]
