Slivers of orange light stretched across the grated floor, snaking up the coral walls of the TARDIS and blocking Donna’s path. Well, not exactly blocking but she’d come to a stop either way. To the side was a heavy door covered in the same sort of symbols that the Doctor usually scribbled on his post-it notes - they always reminded her of crop

I love how you write Donna and Ten, I really do. And I love that she gets this insight into the Doctor that others might not, simply because they're friends and she's just trying to get to know him better like a good friend would. I also think the ending is really appropriate and draws some parallels between Donna and the Doctor he might not otherwise want to see. This piece definitely made me think they are totally perfect for one another, because they each given and take and push and pull to make the other a better person.

Aw, thank you. I'm just glad it turned out after gnawing on it for a couple of days. Donna and Ten have such a fun relationship and I really love how Donna just understands him so well and they can just be friends. Even if I ship them also
