It had been a long time since Jack had done anything romantic. When he asked Christine on a date, he had no idea how he was going to pull it off. They were in the middle of space, after all, and getting reservations at a fancy restaurant was out of the question. Luckily for him, the Enterprise had stopped for supplies, which gave Jack the chance to pick up a few things.
In the middle of his quarters sat a small table, covered in a white table cloth. On the table's surface sat two plates of chicken and rice, along with some wine. Pulling everything together hadn't been an easy task, but Jack wanted it to be special. Especially after their bickering match over Jeza.
Shuddering, Jack finished buttoning up his shirt. He really hoped Christine didn't bring that little demon spawn with her. If she did, he would have to find a box to shove it in.
Once he was completely dressed, Jack sat down and waited for Christine's arrival.
