I had my first Mojito the other night.

Now I know that I have an abnormal intolerance for mixed drinks (My Whiskey hasn't seen ice for several months now and classic martinis and gin and tonics stretch what I can stomach), I still don't get the appeal of the Mojito. All that mint just gets so stuck in my craw! They seem extremely difficult to manage. Where did this whole craze come from?

there's a craze? I thought the craze happened in the late 1980s. i just had one a few months ago and i like em. if u don't like the mint strain it out. I have an appreciation for drinks that can have a high amount of alcohol in them while still remaining delectable. dirty martinis anyone?

dirty Martinis very yes. Even though they make me feel like my Grandmother, but hey, she is a really classy lady.
