Personality: Nana is a girly girl at heart, and it shows in her clothing style; from her frilly hats, to her sweet dresses, and down to her matching shoes, one would never mistake her for a tomboy. She loves jewelry and hairpins as well, and her outfits always seem to acquire their own set of accessories to match them. A skilled seamstress, Nana often puts her talents to use, from simple patching up of ripped clothing to making entirely new outfits and scarves out of fabric scraps for her and her friends to wear.
Along with the girly personality, Nana is somewhat of a mother figure to the boys, even though she is the youngest among them. Her mothering can come across as nagging at times, but she truly means well and only wants the best for her fellow +Anima companions. When flustered or angry, she often shows more of her "tsun", as it were, but she will more often than not cool off fairly quickly and she isn't one to hold grudges.
All +Anima have their own story regarding how their powers first came to them, which usually involve some kind of trauma. Nana is no different. One night when her father returned home, drunk and abusive, and began to hit her mother once again, a distressed Nana tried to stop him - and accidentally stabbed his hand with the scissors she was holding. Scared for her life, she fled into the woods, where her bat +Anima took hold for the first time, allowing her to escape. Though she has been known to show disgust toward her large +Anima marking and her bat wings and ears, she also knows that the power saved her life, and has been incredibly useful in countless ways.
When given the choice to have her +Anima removed, at first Nana accepted. The promise of a normal life was something she had always longed for, perhaps even before her +Anima found her. Moments before the operation, she thought back on all the times her bat wings and ears had saved her life, and how they allowed her to meet Cooro, Husky and Senri... and she realized that she was, indeed, truly happy with her +Anima, even if it meant being different and dealing with the fear and disdain from normal people.
Nana can be a scardey-cat at times, even running away from danger and anything that frightens her, but for the sake of her companions she manages to push past that fear and stand strong. She has a tendancy to let her emotions rule her actions, for better or worse. Her prodding about the pasts of her companions can sometimes come across as her being nosy, but it is rooted in a genuine interest in her friends and a somewhat clumsy effort to become closer with them.
