"Remus?" Not seeing him anywhere near the vicinity of the front door, Tonks makes her way into the kitchen. "You made tea? That's so thoughtful." She smiles at him and sits her canvas tote down onto the counter and then plops down onto a chair across from him. "Well, I got it all done. I got you added to my account at Gringotts and a key to my vault made too. It'll be a few days before the Gringotts Visa arrives."
Tonks expells a breath and then finally looks at Remus. She really looks at him. "Erm... Something on your mind?"

He crosses the kitchen, putting water in the cups. "I don't know. We've never really sat down and talked about this. I spent too long protesting and now it's all done, so." He turned and smiled. "Nothing so deadly serious as I feel I'm sounding right now. But things have changed between us. A good change. Scary. A scary good change."
He stirs the cups, chuckling. "And suddenly I'm fifteen years old again."

She pays attention to what he is saying very carefully. One eyebrow goes up and the other stays lower and then they switch a few times. "I know I was a little bit grumpy this morning but I did not mean at all to hiss at you. Really. I just hadn't slept well, is all."
And then she realizes something, "Remus? Are we talking about sex?"

"Sort of...? Not really. I mean, I," he flails slightly. "We both...have feelings for each other. And, of course, the transition from friendship to something else and we've both been coerced by fate, it would seem. What I mean is, how do you want to go about this? Do we do things in reverse? Marriage and then date?"
