So, sorry I haven't posted in a couple days, but not much to post.  Weather is gorgeous, been sitting on the beach in the sun, reading books, making yummy food, and drinking good wine.  Lather, rinse, repeat.  Not much post worthy, still isn't but I didn't want folks to think I fell off the island or anything so I thought I

Looks like that, but it was just filled with air. Sort of like those air pockets some of our seaweed has at home, only much bigger and blue. I could do some google research, or just ask the owner next time I see him. It was only the one day I saw them though, so it was odd.

Found out what that darned thing was years later, it's a Portuguese Man of War, a type of invertabrate like a jelly fish. Supposedly they can pack quite a sting even dead, so I guess I'm glad I only poked at it with a stick.
