While we were at Wellington we visited Old Tailem Town which is a village that has been put together of over 100 buildings - most of them originals that have been moved there, but there are some replicas as well. Unfortunately for you guys, we took 100's of photos......but I'll only hit you with a couple at a time:

Oh how cool! That's like when we visited South Park City. Same thing; various buildings moved and reassembled in one place. :)

Wow, that is so interesting about how the town came to be. I'd never heard of anything like that before. And stained glass windowns to boot! Do people live there or is it just for tourists to visit?

We have a few of these "towns" in Australia. Usually they are managed by the local historic society, but Old Tailem Town has actually been put together by a man & his wife as a business. It's astounding at how much "stuff" these people have either collected, or had donated to them.

It was such a beautiful day, so the blue sky certainly added to the colours.
