Wow it's been 10 days since I last posted pictures.

What have we been up to? Well while we were staying at McLaren Vale, we visited Cleland Wildlife park just out of Adelaide....It was a great place to visit:

I know!!! How special is that! They were very cute. And yes they were definitely the most chilled out roos i've ever seen!!! One of them actually let me feed him, while he was laying down, and then dropped his head to the ground while he was chewing it :)

I love the wildlife, but I'm afraid of geese. I was chased and bitten by one when I was three and I guess I've never gotten over it.

I know what you mean about the geese, I am not too keen on them myself...they can be very scarey.

I saw some dog food samples yesterday that had kangaroo in them. I realize this is probably no different than all the other beef, lamb, chicken, etc. that is in dog food, but no way could I feed them kangaroo!

Our butchers & supermarkets sell kangaroo meat for human consumption. It's actually quite nice (you have to remember that kangaroos are in plague proportions in some areas of our country). It's a bit gamey, but quite nice....HOWEVER, it's the reason our daughter is a vegetarian..........LOL :)
