AT LAST..............I've caught up. Today we are at Coffin Bay on the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia. The plan was to catch up with our friends Kev & Sue, and Kev's brother & sister-in-law, Ron & Joan here on the Peninsulas to do some fishing. Strange name for the bay. Do you know from whence it derives?

Coffin Bay = "Coffin Bay was named in 1802 by MatthewFlinders in honour of his British Navy friend Sir Isaac Coffin. The name has nothing to do with fatal shipwrecks, wooden boxes or a rock that's shaped like a coffin" according the the caravan park information.

The oysters look wonderful. I bet you've eaten a LOT of oysters, so if you say they're the best, they must be! Happy fishing!
