Easter 2012 of the IFOST

Apr 11, 2012 14:40

We needed to hide out over Easter. We didn't have a booking anywhere (we never do) so we were expecting to have to stop at a roadside camp for Easter. While we were in Coffin Bay we were told about a place called Farm Beach so we went to check it out (it wasn't really very nice) but on the way we came across a little place called Mount Dutton Bay ( Read more... )

What no easter egg hunt?, looks like great weather, the sunset reflection is beautiful pitty Mr Pig doesn't look happy! Hey Dave we have never caught squid let alone cleaned it,is it tricky getting all the hard bits out. Ahh the K G Whiting and squid would make for a lovely Good Friday lunch. Just so you know, ours was too, as usual with all guests well fed and watered. So much so all attendees left with full bellies by dusk. Missed you guys. Someday it will happen.

Hey guys....glad you had a great easter as well. Yes, there was a decidedly absence of chocolate for our Easter, Sue & I got one from a vendor (a little tiny one) at the markets on Easter Sunday....but that was it! But that's all we needed :)

It's pretty tricky dealing with squid (LOL Just ask our friends Ron & Joan...they were on the jetty here at Venus Bay last night, when a young boy caught one and came & ask them what to do with it, and it squirted it's ink all over the boy and ron.....I didn't see it but it sounded pretty funny :)

We are still in SA and will be for a couple of weeks. Heading to back to Murphys Haystacks tomorrow for a couple of day waiting to get into our sites at Streaky bay on Monday where we will spend a week. Hoping the weather is good and we can get our boats off and head out again.

Take care,
xxxxx

Thanks it was a lovely Easter ......THOUGH the only chocolate any of us saw was when Sue & I went to some Markets at coffin bay and one of the vendors gave us each one of those tiny little eggs....but that was all we needed :)

I love that photo of Ron & Joan as well.
