Hey! I'm currently writing an app for Astrid, and (uh, assuming I get in.. *crosses fingers*) I just wanted to check your AU history.
I have to say, I adore you for not changing the history. *_* I'm just going to say that Astrid was evacuated somewhere... so she can be reunited with Hiccup at the academy, if that's okay with you. :P

Ah, actually, we've had Astrid twice in the past, so uh. Yeah. XD There's some history there. You've pretty much hit the nail on the head, though--we had it that Astrid came to the school but soon left to help with evacuations from Berk before it got eaten by the mist. (She said she sent Hiccup a letter to let him know where she was but it got lost and they had a moment of "YES I DID" "NO YOU DIDN'T") She then left again to continue helping with the Berk evacuations to get everyone settled in somewhere else. So uh--yeah. XD You'd be picking up Astrid after that.

AAAAA FORGOT TO MENTION EARLIER

Both Astrid and Hiccup went on the Berk expedition. Nothing really happened except for the dragons acting very malevolently and not at all as they would normally. Also, everyone got their asses kicked really badly and came back injured. I don't remember how Astrid got hurt, but I don't think it was too serious and I think by now it would've healed. Hiccup, on the other hand, got a really nasty burn and a broken arm, which are both still healing, so uh. Yeah. XD Astrid would know about it already, so JUST A HEADS UP, THAT KINDA HAPPENED.
