Life is...life.  Been at the "new" job for about 10 months now.  Love the job - not the boss.  It's her own business and she's good at it, but what a pain to work for.  Make any mistake and get a scolding and a lecture - regardless of the scope of the mistake.  She taught school about 25 years ago and it shows.  I love my co-worker, who may likely ( Read more... )

Yikes. Your boss sounds like a micromanager. D: I'm glad you like the job!

Sounds like you had an amazing time in Paris. I'm so glad you got to go! I hope you post up some pics, I'd love to see the Blue Amoebas. XD

Also, this is a bad trend, if I'm starting to post only as often as you, to the point where I'm the new standard. Hahaha. *hug*

Wish I could have gotten to see you when I went back home in November, but circumstances went otherwise.

The boss isn't so much of a micromanager - I've got a lot of freedom to do my job in the way I see best. But...forget to get a phone number, or don't wear what she considers appropriate (dress or slacks/skirt and jacket)...get ready for the lecture and scolding.

It's hard to believe your son is almost driving. Isn't he still a little kid? lol Mine are in 3rd and 5th. We started chatting when he was 1 or 2, now my son is 9and daughter is 10.

Wow, it's so hard to believe how time has flown.
