"There may be a problem," Angel said to Marty as soon as he could close the door.

"If it's about the towels, I didn't realize they weren't complimentary," Marty qupped before he realized that Angel was more broody than his normal self. "What's up?"

"How drunk was I last night? How long we we together last night?" Angel asked. "I know Angela said three but - was I out of your sight for very long?"

"Well we left the hotel about eleven. Almost killed the speedwalkers around midnight and were together chasing that demony thing until around three or so and got back here around four-thirty AM," Marty said trying to remember. "After that I went to bed. Why do you ask?"

Angel drummed his fingers nervously against his desk.

"But the walls here are really thin, right?" he asked. "If I'd gone out, say, after we got home you'd have heard it?"

Marty gave Angel a serious look. "I didn't hear anything after that but then again I don't have super stalker powers. Why are you asking me this, Angel? Wouldn't you know if you left the hotel or not?"

"Funny story about that," Angel said, looking uncomfortable. "Possibly not?"

"Care to share?" Marty asked leaning forward. "Because like the girl says you suck at being cryptic."

"The past couple of nights I haven't been sleeping well," Angel said. "And I've been having these dreams about people dying. Just like it says in that article. Only I'm the one killing them."

Marty didn't say anything for a while and let that thought sink in.

"I thought we took care of that problem back in November," he finally said looking very concerned.

"Maybe it's just dreams?" Angel asked. "I mean Callisto was talking about having these dreams about killing people. Maybe I've got what she's got. Of course she was also talking about being in love with me. Like my day isn't complicated enough. How do girls do that? Don't they know we need at least three months of warning to prepare? Because she's going to kill me. I know it. You'd think going to a different dimension would take care of these problems but nooooooo...."

Marty shook his head. "Parker sent me an e-mail on the whole dream thing. It only affected a few people in Fandom. I don't know what's going on with Callisto and you but you should know better than to piss her off."

Marty settled down to business. "How close are your dreams to what it said in the paper?"

"Really close," Angel said, quietly. "Like I could taste their blood."

"Did you ever...?" Marty self-conciously rubbed the side of his cheek. "Y'know. Leave a mark like that? When you still did that kind of thing."

"For a while, yeah," Angel said. "It was a way to mock God. I grew out of it but... I thought I grew out of drinking human blood too. Maybe I've been wrong?"

He looked in the direction of the lobby. "Maybe I've been tempting myself too much."

"What's the other option? Cutting yourself off from the rest of the world? It really doesn't help," Marty replied. "Trust me. I know this very well."

He gave Angel a serious look. "Do you really think you did this?"
